Eureka!
Found a disregarded collectible.
Of mantel clocks.
In this late stage of life, past four scores and four, I continue to avidly engage in my very addictive hobby of sketching, typically busts of famous personalities and celebrities of the world.
Thus, nights of anxious sleeplessness or of antsy anticipation of restful sleep will usually find me hunched in my small desk, gathering the usual tools I use. Of graphite and assorted charcoal pencils. Of ballpoint pens. Erasers, cotton and tissue papers. And of course, collected photos of possible subjects.
All things considered, I now have a baleful collection of about 500 pieces of drawings, tucked in more than a dozen albums. Evidence representing countless hours of work done to produce each one.
The devout wish is that someday ample space could be found and allocated as their display. And those hours expended will not in my estimation have been in vain.
A test post after a long absence.
